This update fixes a possible security issue in Chatjet which could have been used to take over user accounts if sessionids of online users are known. This update is recommended for all customers

Chatjet Version 3.70 supporting new platforms
Today we've released the new Chatjet 3.70 version. This maintenance release features a lot of product improvements. The most prominent ones are: The Chatjet server now officially supports the following new platforms: Windows XP 64Bit Edition, Windows Server 2003 64Bit Edition, Debian 3.1 Sarge (32Bit), Red Hat Fedora Core 3 (32 bit), Red Hat Fedora Core 3 (64 bit). Also MySQL versions 4.1 and 5.0 now are officially supported database backends.

9/9/2004 - Version 3.52 improves compatibility

The just released version 3.52 of Chatjet improves compatibility with the new Windows XP Service Pack 2, recently offered by Microsoft. Also this update fixes an issue that could result in the Chatjet IDE not shutting down cleanly. As always this update is available free of charge from our download servers to our existing Chatjet 3 customers.

5/25/2004 - New Chatjet version 3.50 available

Finally the new Chatjet version 3.50 is available for download, bringing lots of improvements and new features. In addition to the many database systems already supported, this version adds native support for PostgreSQL under Windows and Linux. The newly designed file transfer engine is able to process hundreds of concurrent file transfers between users with minimal server load and high performance. Chatjet 3.50 is available for free download for existing Chatjet 3 customers.

2/10/2003 - Native support for PostgreSQL database system

Starting with version 3.50 Chatjet will natively support PostgreSQL, a database system highly popular on the Linux platform. A pre-release version of Chatjet (3.36) that already includes this functionality is available for interested customers from today on.

9/25/2003 - Chatjet version 3.30 released

Today we have released the new version 3.30 of Chatjet. This maintenance release this version fixes several small problems. Most importantly, browser compatibility and documentation of the example chat rooms has been improved significantly. Existing customers may update their Chatjet 3 installations free of charge.

5/27/2003 - Chatjet 3.20 available

We have just released the new version 3.20 of Chatjet. This version features extended online help inside AdminDesk, again improved database support, ssl-wildcard-certificates (as issued by instantssl.com). Several features requested by our customers also got implemented - for example it is now possible to configure the maximum allowed file sizes and dimensions for images inserted into the chat. As always this update is available free of charge for existing Chatjet 3.xx customers.

5/9/2003 - Announcement: Chatjet 3.20 to be released 5/27/2003

On 5/27/2003 the new Chatjet version 3.20 is going to be released for Linux and Windows. In this version several features requested by our customers got implemented. Chatjet now supports the usage of so-called "wildcard ssl certificates" as issued by for example instantssl.com. Now it is also possible to configure the maximum size of images and files inserted into the chat.

2/13/2003 - Chatjet 3.10 released

The update to the new Chatjet version 3.10 is available now. The new versions offers again significant performance improvements. The database interface has been improved to be more fail-safe in case of errors in the connected database system.

11/18/2002 - New chatjet.com website online

For the last years, our product chatjet was more or less only sold to the german market. This was the reason chatjet.com rarely got any updates. With the release of chatjet 3, an international version finally is available. Welcome to the world of chatjet!
